Influence of Braking Operation on Longitudinal Impulse of 20,000-TonHeavy-Haul Combined Train

Abstract ∵ Aiming at the longitudinal impulse problem of 20,oo0-ton heavy-haul combined trains,this paper establishes a multi-particle longitudinal dynamic model of heavy-haul train considering locomotive traction, braking characteristics and nonlinear coupler bufer system.Combined with theoretical analysis and numerical simulation,the influenceof three keycontrol factors,namely,the proportionof electric braking,the positionof braking and the position of relieving,on the longitudinal impulse of heavy-haul train underthe running condition of 10‰ long downhill is systematically revealed.The results show that reducing the maximum electric braking ratio ofthe locomotive can significantly reduce the maximum hook pressing force of the train during the braking process.When the electric braking ratio is0.8,the maximum hook pulling forceof the train is the smallest.Reasonable selection of brakingand relieving position can effectively improve the longitudinal force distribution of the train.The closer the train air braking and relieving position,the smaler the longitudinal impulse.The research resultscan provide an important theoretical basis for the braking control mode and longitudinal impulse active suppression ofheavy-haul trains.
