Abstract:【Obectie】Tisstdysystematicallivestigatedteompositionalhracteristsofhperdominanceadgdt aswellatheiryolesimaitiinforestbomasndproductivityitintaturalfortostesofouthesteHube Theaiistoprovideateoreticalbasisandpracticalguidanceforteconservatioandsustainablemanagementofforestvegetatioin subtropicalmountainousandhillregions.【Method】Weusedbiophysicaltreedatafrom6-hectarelargeplotinsouthwesternHubei China.Wesystematicallyanalyzedtherelativecontributionsofhyperdominanceandlarge-sizedtrestobiomassandproductivity exploringthepotentialimpactofthesedominantreespeciesonregionalforestcarboncyclingandtheirkeyolesinmaintainingforest ecosystem functionsand stability.【Result】Asmall numberof hyperdominance contributed approximately 50% ofspecies abundance (8species)omass 2spcies)andproductivity(5speies).eakingofeciesabndanedsnotaligwitheirosd productivityanings,withotablediferencesobseedSpecesabundancesowedasignificantpositivecoelationwithbothoass and productivity ( R2>0.62 P<0.001 ), with higher species abundance contributing more to biomassand productivity.Approximately
1.00% to 3.39% of the big-sized trees contributed 34.29% to 68.94% of the biomass and 19.99% to 50.05% of the productivity. Species abundances of large treeswere excellent predictors of their biomass R2>0.98 P<0.001 )andproductivity (R2>0.86 P<0.001 ) Phylogenetictresshowedthathyperdominanceandlarge-sizedtres exhibitedevolutioaryclustering,primarilyoncentratedwithin specificfamilies.Thesespeciesplayedakeyroleinmaintainingecosystemfunctions.【Conclusion】Hyperdominanceandbig-sized treesplayacucialoleinsustaingforestbiomassdproductivityesedomantresnotonlypotentiallffctegioalfoest carboncycling butalsohavefar-reaching implications forthe long-term healthand stabilityofforest ecosystems.
