Trend in laboratory safety management in domestic and international universities and their implications for horticultural laboratory construction

Abstract：【Objective】This studyaims to systematically analyze the development trend oflaboratory safety management indomesticandinternational collgesanduniversities，toclarifythespecial characteristicsandconstructionneedsof horticulture laboratories insafetymanagement，and toprovide theoreticalbasisandpractical guidancefortheimprovement of their safety managementlevel.【Method】Using CiteSpace software，weanalyzed2532 Chinese and English literatures inChina National Knowledge Infrastructure（CNKI）and Webof Science（WOS）databases from1998 to2O25，andcombined the methods of keyword co-occurrence，clustering，timelineand emergent word detection to reveal theresearch hotspots， evolution paths，and cooperation network characteristics.【Result】There was a significant diference betweendomestic andforeignstudies：thenumberof Chinese literature（2276）far exceds thenumberofEnglish literature（256），which focuseson theinstitutional levelof safetymanagement system，safety educationandsafetyculture;whilethe English literature paidmoreattntion totheoperationalandtechnical issues suchasriskassessment，laboratorysafety techology and environmental health.As forthe coperationnetwork，the domestic network hasa hierarchical structure with the administrativedepartmentsofuniversitiesasthecore，whiletheinternationalnetwork hasamulti-centerandhighdensity pan-disciplinarycollaboration.Horticulturelaboratories havemultiplerisksinbiology，chemistry，environmentandfield operation，andadynamicsafetymanagementsystem integrating digital technologiesmustbeestablished tocoverall laboratory processes.【Conclusion】The studysuggests thatuniversityhorticulture laboratories should strengthendomestic and international exchanges，draw on interdisciplinary approaches，and builda modern laboratorysafetymanagement systemhatfitstheatributesof thediscipline，isintellgent，andcovers thewholeprocess，soastoensurethesafe， efficient，and sustainable operation of teachingand research activities.
