Ningxia750o02;2.NingxiaKeyLaboratoryofAgricultural Biotechnology，Yinchuan，Ningxia750O2;3.Instituteof PlantProtection，Ningxia Academy of AgricultureandForestry Sciences，Yinchuan，Ningxia 750002） AbstractPowdery mildew，asoneofthediseases during the growthand developmentof crops，efectivelyanalyzing its research hotspots playsa significant guiding role in the precise preventionand control of the disease.Basedon the bibliometric method，using the CNKI and WOS databases from 2015 to August 10，2024，a visual analysis was conducted on 4 490 Chinese and 4 485 English papers in the field of powdery mildew research.Using CiteSpace for plotting，statistics were made from severalaspects suchas thenumber of publications，authors，institutions，countries， keywords，time zones，evolution trends，and high citations.The resultsshowed that among theChinese literature authorsof powderymildew，the team of Zhou Yilin had the highestnumberof publications，whileamong the English literature authors，TAKAMATSU Shadthe highestnumberof publications; There were fewer cooperative relationships amongthe institutionsof Chinese literature authors，while the institutions of English literature authors had closer cooperation.Basedon theresearch andhigh citationrates of theauthors in bothChineseand English literatureon powdery mildew，from2015 to August10，2024，theresearchon powdery mildew mainly focusedon biological control of powdery mildew， types of pathogenic bacteria， pathogenesis，and regulatory genes.
