Abstract Lycium barbarum，as aplantthat servesboth as foodand medicine，boasts richnutritional valueand plays a significantrolein traditional Chinese medicine.Itis notonlythecharacteristic industryof Zhongning County，butalso theenriching the people'sindustry inlocal economic development.Thecurrent situation of developmentof Lycium barbarumindustryin Zhongning Countyisintroducedindetail，including plantingscale，marketdemandandindustry chainconstruction，etc..The main problems existing in thecurrentdevelopment of Lycium barbarumindustryare analyzed，suchasweak brand influenceand fiercemarketcompetition.Inresponse totheproblems，aseriesof practical development suggestions are putforward，including improving theadded value of products，focusing on brand building， and enhancing the market visibilityof“Zhongning wolfberr”，hoping to providecertain basis and referenceforthe further growth of Lycium barbarum industry in Zhongning County.
