Construction of Sports Disciplines with Chinese Characteristics ： Evolution，Features and Prospects

Abstract：Acceleratingthedevelopmentofsportsdisciplineswith Chinesecharacteristicsisanessentialcomponentof the disciplinesystemofsocialismwith Chinesecharacteristics.Basedonareviewof thedevelopmentalhistoryandachievementsof sportsdisciplines with Chinesecharacteristics，thispaperidentifiesseveral challngesintheirconstruction，includingthe insuficientcognitionofthefunctionalvalueofsportsdisciplines，tolarifyboundarydemarcationofsportsdisciplines，toepir disconnectionbetween textbookdevelopment，curiculumdesign，andtalentstandads，tofulfilthelackofknowledgediscourse power mismatching internationalacademicsystems，toovercomesystemicbarrers tointerdisciplinaryintegrationparadigms， and institutionalconstraints hindering theindependent developmentof traditional sports disciplines.Sportssciencewith Chinesecharacteristicsshouldberegardedasacomprehensive interdisciplinaryfield，hosedisciplinaryframeworkconsistsof fourcomponents：foundationaldisciplines，keydisciplines，nichedisciplines，andemerginginterdisciplinarydisiplis.Is development directionlies in：grounding in Chinese characteristic sportspractices to strengthen theconstructionof foundationalsportssciencedisciplines;aligningwithnational strategictasks toacceleratethedevelopmentofkeysports science disciplines；adhering tothe pathof Chinesecharacteristicsportsdevelopment to enhancenichesportsscience disciplines;andresponding to technologicaland industrialrevolutions toadvance emerginginterdisciplinarysportsscience disciplines.Theresearchaimstopromotethehigh-qualitydevelopmentofmassftessandcompetitivesports，roviding talent support for the construction of a sports powerhouse and a healthy China.
