Abstract:ToclarifytheenvironmentalcapacityofheavymetalsinfarmlandsoilsintheEbinurLakebasinofXinjiang,atotalof115 surface soilsampleswerecollctedfrothesudyarea,ndthecotentsofeavymetalsicudingCd,Hg,As,Pb,Cu,N,ndZnee analyzed.The Environmental Capacity Comprehensive Index(PI) was used to analyze the characteristics and spatial distribution patterns ofenvironmentalcapacityofeavymetalsinfmlandsoils.Teresultssowedtattheaveragecontentofsevenaymetalsincluding Cd,Hg,As,,Cu,ndZnineladsilinirkebsinsloweratelowbleliitseSEl Quality-RiskControlStndardsfoSoilContaminationofAgrculturalLnd(GB618O18),ndtheoverallontentofavytals waswithinasafeange.Theaveragestaticanddynamicannualenvironmentalcapacitiesofvarioushavymetalsinfarlandsoilinthe studyareacanberankedas:Zn>Ni>Pb>Cu>As>Hg>Cd.Theaveragedynamicanualenvironmentalcapacityofvariousheavymetalswas greater than the static annual environmental capacity. The single environmental capacity index(Pi) of seven heavy metals in farmland soils can be ranked as: Cu>Hg>Ni=Pb>Cd>Zn>As. The average PI value of heavy metals in farmland soil was O.82,at a medium capacity zone. The spatial distribution patterns of Pi of various heavy metals are different.
