Construction of a mobile intelligent pharmacy management asistant system using WeChat mini program basedon PaaScloud model

ABSTRACTOBJECTIVETodevelopamobileintellgent pharmacy managementassistantsystem(abbreviatedas“sistant system"),thus providingconvenient supprt forthedailyoperational managementof pharmacies.METHODs Thesystem was developedusing the WeChatdeveloper tools withWXML,WXSS,andJavaScriptbasedontheplatformasaservice(PaS).Test userswererecruited,andinfive dierentscenarios,namely pharmaceuticalknowledgeinquiry,drugdamageregistration, medicationerordataanalysis,drugexpirationdateregistration,anddutyhandover,thetaskexecutiontimewasrecordedforboth the new(asistant system)and old(paper-basedrecords and fixed computerrecords)modes.Aditionally,users’opinions onthe advantagesof thenew mode werecollected.RESULTSTheasistant system comprised six modules:shift handover, pharmaceutical knowledgedatabase,medicationerorregistration,drugexpirymanagement,drug damageregistration,and medicationconsultationrecords.Among1Otestusers,inallscenariosexceptfortheshifthandoverrecord,thetaskexecutiontime under the new mode was shorter than that under the old mode ( P<0.05 ).Most test pharmacists highlighted that the primary advantagesofthenewmodelieinitsiterativeflexibility,andeaseofuseamongotherbenefits.CONCLUSIONSTheassistant systembasedonPaaScloudmodel WeChatminiprogramdevelopedinthisstudycansignificantlyimprovethedailymanagement efficiency of the pharmacy and optimize the task execution experience for pharmacists.
