ABSTRACTBJECTIVEToinovativelyapplythepre-inteligentprecisiondosingandverificationsystem(hereinafterreferred toas“thesystem"),andtoprovideareferenceforthehigh-level“nteligent”transformation inpatientpharmacy.METHDS Thelimitationsthe triple-serial dispensing mode,whichcomprised theautomaticmedicinepackagingmachine(ATC), intellgenttabletdispensingtable(ITDT)andmedicationdetectionmachine(MDM),wereanalyzed.Theapplicationthesystem andtheadoptionthebarcodescanningverification methodoptimized thepre-dosing management,whole-tabletdrugdispensing process andATCtemporary dosing management.The comparativeanalysis wasconducted toassssdosing time,laborcostand packaging error theeight-month period,beforeandafterthesystemapplication.RESULTSThetriple-serial dispensingmode hadaweakabilitytoavoiderrorrisksinthemanualdosingstage,andalsohaderrorsintheverficationstage.Throughthe inovativeapplicationsystem,thepre-dosing management hadbeen upgraded,thewole-tablet drugdispensing process hadben optimized,andtheATCtemporarydosing managementhadbeenimproved.Theaverage timerequiredforeachdrug forpre-dosing, whole-tablet drug dispensingandATCtemporarydosingwas significantlyshortenedaftertheaplication thesystem,compared with before the application the system ( P<0.001 ).The number pharmacists was reduced from two to one. The error rate ATC decreased significantly from 0.220‰ to 0.029‰ ( P<0.001 ).Specifically,the rate pharmacist-related errors (pre-dosing error,ITDT dosing error,and ATC temporary dosing error) decreased from 0.116%o to 0.001‰ 0 P<0.001 ),and machine-related errors decreased from 0.096%o to 0.023‰ ? P<0.001 ). CNCLUSINS This innovative integration mode greatly improves the workingeficiencyandquality inpatientpharmacy.Itenhancesrefinedmanagementdrugexpirationandinventory,savestimeand labor costs,improves the accuracy drug dispensing, and ensurespatient medication safety.
