ProgressofActiveMechanismand TCMInterventionof Notch Signaling Pathway in Hepatic Fibrosis

【Abstract】Hepatic fibrosis isan important process in the progression of chronic liver diseases and the Notch signaling pathwayplaysasignificant roleinit.The Notch signaling pathway isahighlyconserved intercelular interaction system thatcanregulate processessuchascellproliferation,diferentiationandapoptosis.In hepatic fibrosis,theactivationofthe Notchsignaling pathway iscloselyrelated totheactivationof hepatic stellte cels.Theactivationof the Notch signaling pathwaycan promote the trans-differentiation of hepatic stellate celsinto hepatic fibroblasts and increase thesynthesisof colagen,leading to theoccurrence and progression of hepatic fibrosis.As the advantages of traditional Chinese medicine in treating chronic liver diseases become increasingly prominent,researchers have found that many Chinese herbs have regulatory effcts on the Notch signaling pathwayand have potential therapeutic efects on hepaticfibrosis,thereby inhibiting theactivationof hepatic stelatecellsand the transformationof myofibroblasts.Inaddition,some herbs can also inhibit the synthesis of colagen and alleviate the degree of hepatic fibrosis.This paper deply explores the regulatory mechanism of the Notch signaling pathway in hepatic fibrosis and the research progressof TCM intervention,withtheaimof providing new ideas and strategies forthe preventionand treatment of hepatic fibrosis.
