【Abstract】Objective：To conduct a meta-analysis on the efectiveness of acupuncture at Xiahe point in the promotionof therecoveryof gastrointestinal functionafter gastrointestinal tumorsurgery，and toprovideevidence-based medicalevidence for the promotionof postoperative gastrointestinal functionrecoveryby acupuncture at Xiahe point in clinical practice.Methods： The databases such as China National Knowledge Infrastructure （CNKI），VIP，Wanfang， Chinese Biomedical Literature Database，PubMed，Embase and Cochrane were retrieved.Two researchers independentlyscreened the literatureaccording to the inclusionand exclusioncriteriaandselectedrandomized controled trials onthepromotionof therecoveryof gastrointestinal function byacupunctureat Xiahepointaftergastrointestinal tumor surgery.Meta-analysis of the included studies was conducted by using RevMan5.4 software.Results：A total of 18 clinical studies were included inthisstudy，involving 1，499 patients，with747cases inthe treatment groupand 752 cases in the control group.Onthe basis of the treatment in the control group，the treatment group was given acupunctureat Xiahepointtopromote therecoveryof postoperativegastrointestinal function.Therecoverytimeofbowel sounds D SDM=-0.96 95%CI （-0.198，0.06）， P<0.05 ]and the time offirst exhaust[ SDM=-1.05 ，95% CI （-1.16， -0.41）， 1，thetime of first defecation ⋅SDM=-0.93 ， 95%CI （−1.21，-0.66）， P<0.05 ]，abdominal pain score [SDM=-0.50 ，95%CI（-0.80，-0.21）， P<0.05 ]，abdominal distension score SDM=-0.54 ， ， P<0.05] ，and the time of hospital stay[ SDM=-0.43 ，95% CI（-1.00，0.15）， （204号 P<0.05 ]were compared between the two groups.The treatment group was statistically diffrent from that of the control group （ P<0.05 ）.Conclusion：On the basis of the treatment plan of the control group，the treatment combined with acupuncture at Xiahepointcan promote therecoveryof gastrointestinal function in patientsafter gastrointestinal tumor surgery，shortentherecovery timeofbowel sounds，the timeof first exhaust，the timeoffirst defecation，and the time of hospital stay，and reduce the postoperative abdominal pain score and abdominal distension score.
