Summary of the best evidence on risk factors for frailty in patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease

Abstract  Objective：To summarize the best evidence of frailty risk factors in COPD patients，and to provide evidence⁃based evidence for frailty prevention and intervention management in COPD patients in clinical practice.Methods：Evidence⁃based questions were constructed according to PIPOST model，and expert consensus，systematic review，clinical guidelines and evidence summary on frailties risk factors in COPD patients were systematically retrieved from domestic and foreign guide networks，databases and related association websites.The search period was up to February 28，2024.The quality evaluation and evidence extraction were carried out independently by two researchers.Results：A total of 9 articles were included，including 1 expert consensus，2 guidelines and 6 systematic reviews.A total of 14 pieces of evidence were summarized from four dimensions：patient⁃related，disease⁃related，life⁃behavior and social psychology.Conclusion：The best evidence of fateful risk factors in COPD patients was summarized to provide information support for early identification of high⁃risk groups，targeted implementaiton of comprehensive interventions，optimization of future clinical management of patients，and construction of risk assessment tools.
