Abstract Objective：To evaluate the intervention effect of music therapy on patients with perimenopausal insomnia through Meta⁃analysis.Methods：The randomized controlled trials（RCTs）of music therapy for patients with perimenopausal insomnia were retrieved from CNKI，WanFang Database，VIP，SinoMed，PubMed，the Cochrane Library，Web of Science，and EMbase from the establishment of databases to January 10，2024.Two researchers independently screened the literature，extracted data，and conducted a strict quality evaluation of the selected literature.RevMan 5.4 software was used for data analysis.Results：A total of 11 articles that met the criteria were screened，involving 869 patients.Meta⁃analysis results showed that the total effective rate of music therapy in the experimental group was better than control group（OR=3.05，95%CI 1.79⁃5.21，Z=4.10，P<0.001），the total score of Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index（PSQI） in the experimental group was significantly lower than that in the control group（MD=-3.55，95%CI -4.08⁃-3.02，Z=13.04，P<0.001）；the clinical cure rate of insomnia in the experimental group was higher than that in the control group（OR=2.34，95%CI 1.32⁃4.16，Z=2.91，P=0.004）；the Kupperman score in the experimental group after intervention was lower than that in the control group（MD=-4.75，95%CI -6.76⁃-2.74，Z=4.64，P<0.001），and the differences were statistically significant.Conclusions：The existing evidence shows that music therapy has a certain effect on improving sleep disorders in perimenopausal patients，which could improve the quality of life of patients.However，due to the limitations of the quantity and quality of the included literature，the above conclusions still need to be further verified by large⁃sample and multicenter studies.
