Application of Intelligent Retrieval in Public Library Catalogs Based on Elasticsearch

Abstract: This paper takes the intelligent retrieval platform construction of Changsha Library as a case to explore the applicationofElasticsearch in public librarycatalog retrieval.Byconstructingan intelligent retrieval systembased on Elasticsearch,anghaLbaryeestegatedidexingofolltiosblographicatandatialloatiosee significantlyimprovesretrieval eficiencyanduser experiencethrough asmartranking mechanism.Bycalculatingreal-time readerlocationsandresourcestatus,thesystemprioritizes displayingbookresourcesfromthe nearestbranch libraries,addressing isues such asuneven borrowingofpopularbooksanddiffcultis inlocating branch libraries.Aditionally,tesystemsupports keywordfuzzysarchandfacetedsearchfunctions,furtherenhancingtheretrievalexperience.Practicalresultsdemonstratethat theapplicationofElasticsearchinthelibraryfieldnotonlyimprovesresourceutilizationbutalsoprovides smarterand more convenient services for readers,offering valuable reference for the digital transformation of public libraries.
