Organizational Culture Transformation through Yangming Philosophy of Heart-Mind: Reshaping Selfhood and Values

Abstract: This a paper explores the changes in the underlying layers of organizational culture and competency models,specifically focusing on "beliefs," "values," and "basic assumptions." By drawing on traditional Chinese culture,particularly the relevant ideas and methods from Yangming Xinxue,the paper proposes ideas and approaches with distinct Chinese cultural characteristics.Based on empirical data from corporate practices,the paper conducts relevant tests and highlights key issues for attention in the application of Yangming Xinxue to organizational culture transformation and human resource development practices. It provides suggestions for guiding organizational culture transformation and human resource development with excellent traditional Chinese culture.
