Employment Effect of National Sports Industry Demonstration Base： Based on the Dual Test of Industry Spillover and Spatial Spillover

Abstract：Based on the construction practices of multiplebatches of National Sports Industry Demonstration Bases since 2006，thisstudy adopted the paneldata bidirectional fixed efects model，multi-period differences method， spatial Dubin model and propensity score matching method to examine the positive impact of National Sports Industry Demonstration Bases on regional employment levels.Theresults show that the Bases can significantly promote the employment levelof theregions where theyarelocated，andthisconclusion stillholds trueunder multiple robustness tests.Basedonthe diferential testof therelated industriesof the sports manufacturing industryandthe sports service industry，it was found thatthe two types of demonstrationbases have significant differential spillover efectson he employment levelsof the local educationindustry，wholesale and retail trade，and accommodationand catering industry，further verifying the mechanism by which the sports industry enhances theoverallemployment level of the regionthrough industry-related efects.Theresultsof thespatialDurbin model show thatthe National Sports Industry Demonstration Base has asignificant spatial spillover effect on employment in the surrounding areas and is conducive to improving theoverallemployment levelof theregion.Basedonthis，targetedsuggestions for further enhancing the employment effectof the Bases have beenput forward：strengthening the industry'sspillover effectand building a deplyintegratedsports employment ecosystem；implementing diffrentiated policies to unleash theemploymentdriving potential of diferent types of demonstration bases；deepening the spatial spillover effectand creating a sports employment growth pole for regional coordinated development.
