Abstract： This research aims to explore the choice of colours used by Spanish Impressionist painter Sorolla in his paintings and to interpret the implications. Through a detailed analysis and comparison of Sorolla’s works， as well as an examination of his creative background and artistic perspective， this thesis comprehensively expounds the uniqueness and artistic significance of Sorolla’s use of color.
