The Influence Mechanism of Digital-Intelligent Transformation on Green Innovation in Manufacturing Enterprises from the Perspective of New Quality Productive Forces

Abstract： Digital-intelligent transformation is an important driving force to shape the synergistic evolution of the core elements of the new quality productive forces，and serves as a key driver for green innovation in manufacturing enterprises.This paper focuses on manufacturing enterprises，based on characteristics of their green transformation practice，takes A-share listed manufacturing enterprises from 2011—2O22 as research samples，and constructs a three-dimensional intermediary mechanism of “human capital structure-digital infrastructure-data elements” from the perspective of new quality productive forces.A fixed effects model was employed to empirically investigate the influence mechanism of digital-intelligent transformation on green innovation in manufacturing enterprises from the perspective of new quality productivity.The results show that digital-intelligent transformation significantly promotes green innovation in manufacturing enterprises.This conclusion remains robust after endogeneity and robustness tests.Heterogeneity analysis revealed that the effect is more pronounced in manufacturing enterprises located in eastern regions and cities with higher administrative levels，as well as in high-tech， non-heavy-polluting，state-owned，and large-scale enterprises.The mediating mechanism analysis reveals that digital-inteligent transformation promotes green innovation in manufacturing enterprises by optimizing human capital structure，improving digital infrastructure，and enhancing data elements allcation.The conclusions of the study provide a reference for promoting green innovation in manufacturing enterprises，adapting to the development trend of new quality productive forces and strengthening firms’ competitive advantages.
