Abstract:To eliminate the coupling efect among the capacitor voltage balance control,outer-loop average voltage control,and inner-loop current control of the single-phase cascaded H-bridge (CHB) rectifier,a capacitor voltage balance control strategy based on coupling effect elimination was proposed. Firstly, based on the mathematical model of single-phase CHB rectifier,the generation mechanism of coupling effect of the capacitor voltage balancing control on the outer-loop average voltage control and inner-loop current control was analyzed in detail. Secondly,according to the generation mechanism of the coupling effect,the reference voltage design method of the outer-loop average voltage controllr was presented,to eliminate the coupling effct of the voltage balancing control on the outer-loop voltage control. Then,the active and reactive duty cycle compensation components of each H-bridge module were designed,to eliminate the influence of the voltage balancing control on the inner-loop current control.Finally,the feasibilityand validity of the proposed strategy was verified. Simulation and experimental results demonstrate that the proposed method can achieve the decoupling between the voltage balancing control and the outer-loop average voltage control and inner-loop current control,as well as the balance of the capacitor voltage and reactive power of each H-bridge module.
