Abstract :The dual three-phase permanent magnet synchronous motor(DTP-PMSM) utilizes vector space decomposition (VSD)to form independent harmonic planes,providing greater control freedom for addresing harmonic current issues caused by non-linear factors such as winding asymmetry,non-sinusoidal back electromotive force,and dead-time effects. This enables harmonic current suppression to be carried out in decoupled planes. A harmonic suppression method was proposed for DTP-PMSM based on a quasiresonant and active disturbance rejection composite control strategy.By combining the quasi-resonant controllr with the active disturbance rejection control,a composite observer was designed to achieve the cooperative suppression of the stator harmonic currents in DTP-PMSM. The proposed method not only suppresses non-periodic harmonics but also ffectively mitigates large-amplitude periodic harmonics, helping to improve the motor’s operational stability and eficiency.Further analysis using Bode plots demonstrates the harmonic suppression capability of the proposed method,and the system's stability was verified through zero-pole distribution diagrams. Finally,experiments based on a 1kW DTP-PMSM system validate effectiveness,stability,and robustness of the proposed method.
