Abstract：Inordertocultivate the functionalhullss barleyvarieties thatmetthe marketrequirement，anewvarietynamed Longke1wasdevelopedbyhybridizingthelocalvarietyHeshanghulessasthefemaleparentandthehullssbarleyvariety Longqing1asthemaleparent，usingacombinationoftraditionalandmodernbiologicalbreedingmethods.From221to203，it participated inmulti-lcationregional experimentacrossGansuProvince，showinganaverageyieldof5O27.4kg/haacross15site over3years，whichwas729%igherthanthecontrolvarietyLongqing1.Inthe2O23productionexperimentforhulessbarleylines inGansu，itaievedverageyildof598.3kg/an819%increaseoverteontrol，demostratingstrongieldsailtand highproductivity.Longke1isofspring naturewithagrowthperiodof105to110days，anditisofthemedium-maturingtype.The grain contains 139.2 g/kg crude protein， 654.5 g/kg crude starch，19.6 g/kg ether extract， 3.9g/kg lysine， 62.5 g/kg total amino acids， 20.1 g/kg ash，558.8 g/kg branched starch， 65.9 g/kg β -glucan， and 43.87ug/g polyphenol. Itis suitable for cultivation in hulless barley planting areas with an altitude of 17OO to 3 000 m.
