Analysis of seismic mitigation performance of concrete frame structure with tuned liquid dampers

Abstract : To study the seismic mitigation performance of tuned liquid dampers(TLD)on concrete frame structures and the influence of their parameters on the damping effect,the YKJ software is used to model a six-story concrete frame structure. The ETABS finite element software is used for dynamic time-history analysis to study the seismic mitigation performance of TLD under diffrent seismic conditions and to compare the influence of different frequency ratios and mass ratios of TLD on the shock-absorbing effect. The results show that TLD can significantly improve the seismic capacity of concrete frame structures and reduce the seismic response of the structure. The maximum damping rate of the top displacement of the damping structure can reach 39.8% :
