Reliability topology optimization design for single rotor unmanned helicopter keel structure

Abstract:As to the lightweighting of the keel structure of a certain type of single rotor unmanned helicopter,the variable density method is used for reliability topology optimization design. Starting from the reliability of the structure,two reliability topology optimization models,flexibility minimization model and stress minimization model,are established under volume constraints.The characteristics of the two optimization models are compared and analyzed,and a secondary design is carried out to obtain an optimized configuration of the single rotor unmanned helicopter keel structure. The analysis results show that the stress and displacement performance of the optimized configuration can meet the normal working requirements of the single rotor unmanned helicopter,and it reduces weight by 25.1% compared to the original design structure, achieving the goal of lightweight design.
