Combined analysis method for fragment dispersion characteristics based on Abaqus and LS-DYNA

Abstract:To reduce the workload of simulation analysis of fragment dispersion characteristics,and simplify the difficulty of pre- and post-processing of massive fragments,an automated modeling program for fragment dispersion simulation pre- and post-processing is developed using Python secondary development function of Abaqus. The inp-file is translated into k -file,LS-DYNA reads the inp-file and computes on it. The result file of LS-DYNA is read,and the post-processing analysis on massive fragmented data is carried out.The simulation results of the program are consistent with the experiments, which can verify that the combined analysis method is convenient,fast,and comprehensive in depth.
