AbstractAimingatthelowinfluent pollutantconcentrationinurban wastewatertreatment plants,thispaper takesthe W8 wastewatercolectionzoneindowntown Chenzhouasthestudyobject.Basedonmonitoringdataof waterqualityflowinthe pipelinenetwork,theprimarycausesoflowregionalwastewaterconcentrationsignificantexteralwaterintrusion(dry-season intrusion rate reaching 46.99% ) were analyzed. Targeted technical measures were proposed, including pipeline network renovation, externalwaterseparationlocalizedsource-levelstor-wastewaterseparatio.Analysisofextealwaterremovalefectivenes demonstrates thatchemicaloxygendem(COD)inthezone'smainefluent pipelineisexpectedtoincreasefrom78.3mg/Lto 104.2 mg/L after implementation of this proposal. The planned target of 100mg/L will bestablyachieved,thereby effectively enhancing wastewater treatment efficiency water quality.
