EMCModeling and Simulation Prediction ofDC/DC Converter

KongFanlei,WangLinghui,Cai Minghao,Zhu Zhanshan,Li Min (Global R&D Center, China FAW Corporation Limited, Changchun 130013) 【Abstract]Inorder To evaluate and predictthe Electromagnetic Compatibility(EMC)performance of DC/DCconverterin theearlystageofdesign,themainstreamelectromagneticcompatibility“threeelements”method isfirstused toanalyzethe main interferencesourceandpropagationpathofDC/DCconverter.Secondly,basedonthehigh-frequencyparametereoryof transformer,the parasitic parametertheoryof Printed-Circuit Board(PCB)andthe parameter extraction methodof common mode chokes,the common mode interferenceof transformer,PCB wiring and common mode chokesare analyzed separately. The high-frequencyequivalent modeloftransformerandPCB,experimental environment test benchesand high-voltage filtering modulesareestablishedusing MaxwellHFSS,SIwave,andQ3Dsoftware intheANSYSsimulationplatform.Finally theintegration of each moduleof DC/DC converterandthesimulation analysisof conductionand radiationemission are completed in Simplorersoftware.Theresults indicate thattheconductedandradiated interferenceexceds the standard more severely inthe Metal-Oxide-SemiconductorFieldEffectTransistor(MOSFET)switchingfrequencybandanditsharmonicsof themaininterferencesource.Themodel simulationresultsare basicallyconsistent with theoreticalanalysisandactual experimental results,and the simulation model has high accuracy.
