Abstract:Soil salinization has emerged as a significant factor limiting the sustainable development of agriculture in my country. Plant growth-promoting fungi possessunique advantages in enhancing saline-alkali soils and fostering plant growth. This study utilized salt-tolerant tall fescue(Festuca arundinacea Schreb.)‘Titanium 2LS’as the experimental material. Several fungi were isolated from the rhizosphere soil of‘Titanium 2LS' under salt stress. The classification of the isolated strains was determined through morphological and molecular biological methods, leading to the selection of three key fungal strains and their growth-promoting effects were verified through experimental trials. The results indicate that the isolated fungi belong to the genera Fusarium, Aspergillus, and Cladosporium, respectively. Inoculation tests demonstrated that the three strains exhibited significant growth-promoting effects on tall fescue, resulting in marked increases in plant height, leaf width, and root length,as well as improved photosynthetic efficiency and ratios, thereby alleviating the toxicity associated with salt stress and enhancing the salt tolerance of the plants. This study provides a theoretical foundation for improving the salt tolerance of tall fescue and ameliorating saline-alkali soils.
