Abstract:Tubby-like proteins (TLP) are a significant group of proteins discovered acrossanimal and plant species that participate in various biological processes. These proteins play a crucial role in plant growth, development, and the responses to abiotic stresses. This study employed bioinformatics methods to identify 32 TLP family genes from the hexaploid oat (Auena satiua) genome. We conducted an analysis of their physicochemical properties, gene structures, phylogenetic evolution, and expression patterns across diferent tissues under drought stress. The results demonstrated that the amino acid count of the A s T L P genes ranged from 238 to 543 amino acids. The molecular weights of these proteins were found to be between 26.99 and ,and their isoelectric points ranged from 9.OO to 9.58. These genes unevenly distributed across 17 chromosomes and possessed a large number of conserved motifs. The functional elements primarily included those related to internal hormone responses and external environmental reactions.Expresion analysis indicated significant diferences in the expresion levels of nine AsTLP members between roots and leaves of oats.Specifically, four members showed the increased expression in alltissues under drought stress, suggesting a potential significant role in the oat’s response to drought stress. These findings provided a valuable reference for further studies on the oat TLP family and their responses to drought stress.
