Abstract：Constructingtheindependent knowledge system of archival science for Chinese-style modernization is an inevitable result ofadvancing the development and innovationof archival science theories.The construction of Chinese-stylemodernization'has put forwardnew goals for the knowledge production and disciplin ary mission of archival science，requiring that the developmentofthisindependentknowledgesystemmust respond to the practical needs of buildingan archival cause with Chinese characteristics，contributing Chinese solutions to archival governance， promoting the innovation of Chinese archival theories，and enhancing the academicinfluence of Chinesearchival studies.Itis essential to adhere to taking China as the research object， puttingpeople at the center， adopting a problem-oriented approach，and takingpractical effectiveness as the criterion.By focusing on Chinese-style modernization to refine the core propositions and knowledge expressionsof archival science，wewill build a disciplinary ecosystem of archival science supported by theindependent knowledge system， improve the interaction mechanism between archival practiceand theory centered on Chinese issues，establish a cross-field collaborative innovation platform for archival academic research integrating government，industry，academia，researchand application，and set up an academic evaluation and incentive system that sustains the developmentof the knowledge system.Ultimately，this will lead to the formation of a scientific，systematic，and rich independent knowledge system of Chinesearchival science.
