ABSTRACT:Impacted ureteral stones present unique anatomical characteristics and surgical complexities,making them a significan factorinpost-operativeureteralstricturefolowing stoneremoval.Efectivepreoperativediagnosiscanhelpavoidor reduce complicationsasociated with impactedureteralstonesandfacilitate targeted treatmentselectionNon-contrastcomputed tomography(NCCT)has emerged as thegold standardfordiagnosing impacted ureteral stones duetoits high sensitivityand specificity.Several studies havedemonstratedthatindicators derived from NCCT,such asstone volumeand size,the extentand areaofhydronephrosis,ureteralwallthickness,ureteralwallarea,diameterratiosof theuretersegmentsboveandbelowthe stone,adCTvalueratios,posesstrong prognosis capabiliesforimpacted stones.Thispaperreviews therelevantliterature to summarize NCCT-based predictive methods,models,and scoring systems for impacted ureteral stones,aiming to provide reference for clinical practice.
