Abstract:Objective In order to solvethe problem that thedrilling well wallconnected to the lining is easy to produce damage sincethe deep shaft ingate,constructedby using drilling methods in the western region,is located in the Jurassiccoal bearing strata with soft lithology,lowstrength,and poorsurrounding rock stability.Methods A newstructural form of drilling wellbore horsehead gate was proposed,inwhichthe asphalt product panels wereused tochange the driling well wall and horsehead gate lining from arigid connection to a weak connection.Thelarge calculation software was used to analyze and compare the displacement and stress distribution characteristics of the new horsehead gate structureand the conventional horsehead gate structure,and to compare the support ffect of different thicknesses of asphalt panels.Results The numerical simulation results revealed the stress deformation mechanism of the new type of ingate structure,Compared with conventional structures,the first principal stress and vertical deformation in the shaft structure had decreased by 67.30% and 18.51% ,indicating that the stress state of the structure was more reasonable when the thickness of the asphalt product board was between 8mm and 14mm.Conclusion After adopting the new structure,the asphalt product plate plays a good role in deformation and pressureregulation,which effectively improves the stress condition of the well wall at theconnection.The research results provide reference for the design and construction of ingate under special geological conditions.
