Abstract：【Objective】To mitigate theriskoffreezing injury to ChineseoliveinFuzhou，clasificationcriteriaof Chinese olivefreezing injurylevelisestablishedinthisstudy.【Method】Through fieldinvestigationofhistoricalChineseolive frezing injury events，literature reviewand orchard observation，6O samplesofChinese olive frezing injuryin Fuzhou from1991to 2024 were collected.Acording to morphological characteristics of Chinese olive freezing injurysymptoms， Chinese olivefrezing injurywas clasified intofivelevels：none，light，moderate，severe，andextreme.Afiting equation between Chineseolive freezing injury levelanddailyminimum temperatureoforchardsisdeveloped.And through classificationanalysismethod，meteorological clasificationcriteriaofFuzhou Chineseolive frezing injurylevel is established.【Result】Freezing injuryto Chinese oliveisclassified into five levels，withcoresponding thresholdvaluesof dailyminimum temperature（T ⋅min ）oforchardsas follows：none freezinginjury（Level 0 ）：T ; light freezing injury（Level 1）： -2.5∘Cmin⩽-1.5∘C ；moderate freezing injury（Level2）： -3.0∘Cmin⩽-2.5∘C ； severe freezing injury（Level 3）： -3.5∘Cmin⩽-3.0∘C ; extreme freezing injury（Level 4）： Γmin⩽-3.5∘C . Through geographical transplantation testsandcomparativevalidationof Chinese olivefrezing injury events in typical years，theestablished classificationcriteriaofChineseolivefreezing injurylevelshowedahighconsistencywithactualconditionsofChinese olive in Fuzhou. The matching rate reached 80% orabove.【Conclusion】 The results indicated that the classification criteriaofFuzhou Chineseolive freezing injury level can providereferences forthemonitoring andearly warningof Chinese olive freeze damage.
