【Abstract】To investigate the economic feasibility of hydrogen-powered heavy-duty trucks in both subsidizedand non-subsidized markets,a hydrogenvehicleperformance simulation modelandaTotal Costof Ownership(TCO)modelare established.Through comparativeanalysis of diferent powertrainconfigurations meeting dynamic performancerequirements under user-specific operating conditions,aswellassensitivity studies on hydrogen pricingand energyconsumptionper 100km,several criticalfindingsareobtainedasfolowing.Powertrainconfigurationsignificantlyimpacts totalvehiclecost, withhigherfuelcellsystempowerleading toincreasedoverallcosts.Hydrogen-poweredheavy trucksrequirescenariospecificadaptationsinbothmarkettypes.Whileprofitabilityisachievableinsubsidizedmarkets,themarginremains narrow.In non-subsidized markets,economic viability requires hydrogen prices below 21RMB/kg .Thestudy reveals substantialsensitivitytohydrogenconsumption,withprofitabilitythresholdsestablishedat
