【Abstract】To enhance the management capabilities for the Stateof Health (SOH)of powerbateries and strengthen theircontribution tocarbonemisionreduction,thispaperconductsadetailedreviewcenteredon lithium-ion power batteries-acorecomponentof electricvehicles.Thereview encompasses theindustryoverview,supportive policies, existingchalenges,SOHmanagementof in-vehiclepowerbateries,and futuredevelopments.Thestudydemonstrates that SOHmanagementof powerbateriesexhibitsthefollowingkeytrends:(1)Strengthening SOHmanagementcaneffectively improve batery performanceand lifespan,thereby reducing thecarbon emisions of theentirevehicle; (2)Refined battery managementtechnologies basedon SOHoptimization(e.gstate estimation,optimal control)representthecore direction for futuredevelopment;(3)Bateryful-lifecyclemanagementstrategiesincorporatingcascadeutilizationcansignificantly enhance the overall carbon reduction capabilityof lithium-ion batteries.
