【Abstract】To enhance the accuracyand reliabilityof estimating the State Of Charge （SOC）for lithium-ion power bateries，arepresentative Theveninmodel forlithiumbatteriesisselectedforstudy.Themodelingandparameter identification methodsforthismodelareelaborated.Byanalyzingthemainlimitationsofexisting SOCestimation techniques，anovel method basedonthe Theveninequivalentcircuit modelcombined withanunscentedKalmanfiter （UKF）isproposed.Verificationresultsdemonstrate thatthismethodexhibitsgood tracking performance，maintainserrors within an acceptable range，and delivers overall excellent performance.
