【Abstract】Inordertoanalyze thecrucial roleof the Steer-By-Wire （SBW）system inintelligent drivingand its integratedapplication with thechasiscontrol system，thispaper focusesonthearchitectureand functionsof the SBW system，including thefullyredundant hardware architectureandvariable steering ratio function.Italsoexplores thevehicle applicationofthesystem，suchasthecalibrationofthevariablesteringratioandthematchingofroad-feelfeedback.The paperalso proposesanoptimal basicroad-feel feedback functionscheme，aswell asproceses and methods forvehicle aplicationsuitable forthe variable steeringratioandroad-feelfeedbackof the SBWsystem，providing technical supportfor the development and engineering application of the SBW system.
