Medication Rules of Chinese Medicine in Treating Bronchial Asthma in Lingnan Region Based on Literature Analysis

Abstract：Objective：To explore the medication rulesand formulation characteristics of Chinese medicine in the treatmentof bronchial asthmainthe Lingnanregion based on literature analysis.Methods：Literatureon Chinese medicine treatmentof bronchialasthma in the Lingnanregionfrom January2OOOto March 2O24 wasretrieved from CNKI，VIP，Wanfang，Chinese Medical Journal Full-text Database，and SinoMed.A database of the selected prescriptions and herbs was established.Data mining techniques were used to perform frequency analysis，analysis of natures，flavors，channel entry and eficacy，association rules analysis，and cluster analysison the medicines. Results：A totalof 58 eligiblearticles were included，involving 71 prescriptionsand118 types of Chinese medicines. The natures of the medicines were mainlycold，warm，and neutral，with biter，acrid，and sweet flavors being predominant；the medicines primarily targeted the lung，spleen，stomach，heart，and kidney meridians.K-means cluster analysis identified four clusters of prescriptions.Conclusion：Chinese medicine treatment of bronchial asthma inthe Lingnan region emphasizes clearing lung and disolving phlegm，relieving cough and panting，and fortifying the spleenand boosting the kidney.It also considers theuseof exterior-releasingand heat-clearing medicines，often combined with herbs that dispel dampness and strengthen the spleen，utilizing locally sourced Lingnan medicinal materials.This provides an efectivereference for Chinese medicine treatmentofbronchial asthma inthe Lingnanregion.
