A study ofUS space force's tactical intelligence support capabilities：the TacSRT program perspective

Abstract： With the ongoing transformation of modern warfare and rapid advancements in information technology，the US space force is actively advancing the transformation，upgrading，and innovative development of tactical intelligence support capabilities.The US military has released its commer cial space strategy，highlighting the critical role of the Tactical Surveillance，Reconnaissance，and Tracking （TacSRT） program. To promptly grasp the development trends of US tactical intellgence support capabilities，the shortcomings of the traditional ISR architecture are examined and the fundamentals of the TacSRT program are outlined.It elaborates on TacSRT's operational mechanism and typical applications，which integrate commercial space resources through a“market-oriented”approach，and analyzes specific measures taken by the US space force，including leveraging commercial space capabilities，developing low-earth orbit constellations，establishing integrated air-space sensing systems，and implementing intelligent analysis technologies.
