Abstract:By overcoming the limitations of baseline length,distributed interferometers can improve the estimation accuracy of targets’direction significantly. However the time-frequency difference of arrival is also amplified,which breaks the narrowband assumption used in traditional interferometers.The signal model of distributed interferometer is established to analyze the impact on phase discrimination and simulation validations are conducted.The results show that typical distributed inter ferometer systems,by appropriately selecting accumulation methods and frequencies,and compensating the time difference,can achieve phase discrimination accuracy comparable to that of signal-platform interferometers.
