Radar moving target arbitrary trajectory deception jamming based on fixed platform

Abstract: In modern electronic warfare,radar deception jamming technology is a crucial means of disrupting enemy radar systems and protecting friendly targets. Conventional radar target simulators mostly simulate radially moving radar targets through delayed forwarding methods,which are inadequate for simulating tangential movements and complex target trajectories.A moving target arbitrary trajectory deception jamming scheme based on digital radio frequency memory (DRFM) technology and signal reconstruction is proposed.By accurately measuring the scanning characteristics of the radar antenna,the scheme calculates the sidelobe timing synchronization echo modulation parameters and generates azimuth delay control pulses for target simulation in real-time.This allows the RF generation of false target echo signals similar to real targets,thereby interfering with the target detection and tracking of enemy radars.The principles and implementation methods of the deception jamming are introduced and the effectiveness of the approach is vaildated through measured data.Experimental results demonstrate that the proposed method can successfully simulate false targets with various complex motion trajectories,exhibiting high levels of concealment and deception,which can provide more realistic air situation information for radar performance testing and operator training.
