AbstractPepper is the traditionaladvantageand characteristic industryof Xinpu New District，and it is also the leading agricultural industry in Xinpu New District.Inrecent years，Xinpu New District with "one cityand three parks" （China pepper city，pepper processing park， pepper logistics park， pepper smart industrial park）as the main position，around the Zunyi municipal commitee and government’s "one heart and two wings" overall deployment，continue tofocus onpepper planting，processng，distribution，brand，scientificresearch，exhibiion and other whole industry chain construction，by "strengthening the chain"，"complementing the chain" and "extending the chain"，continuouslyconsolidate the high-quality development foundation of the pepper industry， and the development momentum of the pepper industry in the region is strong. The advantages and problems of chili industry development in Xinpu New District are analyzed and corresponding countermeasures and suggestions are put forward to provide reference for the industry development.
