Breeding and Experience of A New Spring Wheat Variety Ningchun No.68 with High Yield and EarlyMaturity

Abstract The new spring wheat variety Ningchun No.68 was created by Yongning County Agricultural Technology Extension Service Center with self-bred stable strain T28 as the mother and Ningchun No.39 as thefather.After years of directional breeding in the north and south,the variety wasapproved by Ningxia Variety Certification Commite in September 2O22.The parental selection,breeding process,characteristics,resistance performance, quality traits,yield performance and cultivation technologyof new wheat variety Ningchun No.68 were introduced, and some experience in breeding process was discussed in order to provide reference for breeding new wheat varieties with early maturity and high yield in Ningxia irrigation area.
