Abstract:ObjectiveTo explore the influences of transcranial direct current stimulation (tDCS)incombination with cognitive-motordualtasktraining(CMDT)onmemoryand executivefunctioninpatients sufferingfrompost-strokecognitive impairment.MethodsAtotal of75 stroke patients wererandomly divided into thetDCS group, the CMDT groupand the combined group, each consistingof25cases.Allpatients inthethree groupsreceivedroutinerehabilitation treatment. The tDCS group underwenttDCS stimulationof dorsolateral prefrontal lobe (DLPFC)oftheregion, the CMDT groupreceived CMDT andthecombined group received CMDTonthe basis of tDCStreatment. The fourth editionof the Wechsler Memory Scale(WMS-IV),WisconsinCard Test(WCST),MontrealCognitiveAssessment (MoCA)andModifiedBarthel Index(MBI) wereusedtovaluateeoverallognitiefunction, memoryexecutivefunction, andailylvngabilityoftepatintsfore and4 weeksaftertreatment, respectively.ResultsBeforetreatment, there werenosignificant diferences intheevaluation indices between the three groups ( P>0.05 ).After4 weeksof treatment, the scores of WCST,WMS-IV,MoCA and MBI in the three groups were improved compared with those before the treatment ( P<0.05 ),and the combined group was significantly superior to the tDCS group and the CMDT group ( P<0.05 ).ConclusionThe combination of tDCS and CMDT canimprove thecognitivefunctionafter stroke, andatthesame time exertasynergistic efectonmemoryand executive function.
