Abstract：From the aspects of distribution characteristics，ecological functions，and scientific utilization value of wild persimmon resources in Henan Province，this study analyzed their resource advantages of‘concentration in mountainous areas and rich variety'as well as existing problems.A series of suggestions were proposed， including resource investigation and positioning，construction ofa three-level protection system，technological innovation，high-value development，and policy guarantees.This research provided a reference for the scientific protection of wild persimmon resources，high-quality industrial development，and promotion of rural revitalization.
