Abstract： The Communist Party of China （CPC） has always attached great importance to investigation and study， forming a rich and profound thought on the subject throughout its century-long struggle. Rooted in Marxist epistemology and the mass historical perspective， this thought inherits and develops the investigation and study ideas of Marxist classical writers， while continuously enriching and improving itself in light of China’s specific realities and its fine traditional culture. Its core tenets are embodied in a pragmatic atitude of seeking truth from facts， a mass perspective of serving and relying on the people， and a comprehensive and meticulous work style， all of which are integral to the Party's fine traditions of integrating theory with practice and maintaining close ties with the masses. As an important foundation for the formation of XI Jinping Thought on Socialism with Chinese Characteristics for a New Era， this thought not only provides strong support for the formulation of the Party's policies in the new era but also holds significant value in the field of ideological and political education. It serves as a crucial prerequisite for achieving high-quality development in ideological and political education，an effective approach for the Party to lead such education，and a driving force for improving and innovating educational methods. It ofers powerful guidance for solving development chalenges and enhancing the efectiveness of ideological and political education in the new era.
