Abstract Daylily,asa characteristic economic crop with both medicinal andedible properties,is rich in active components such as flavonoidsand polysaccharides,which have significant functions of antioxidation,lipid-lowering and immune regulation.Ithas broad appication prospects in the great health industry.The research status of active componentsand functional characteristics,processng technology innovation,andthedevelopmentand industrialization of great health products of daylilyathomeand abroadare systematicaly reviewed.It focuses onanalyzing the progressof keytechnologiessuchas theextractionandidentificationoflavonoidsandthestorageand preservationoffreshproducts. The botleneckproblemsexistinginthecurrentindustrial developmentareanalyzed,suchasthesingle processing mode and insufficient deeputilization,lowretentionrateofactive ingredients,andinsuficientutilizationofby-products.The integration pathof traditional processing techniques and modern technologiesas wellasthe development oportunities under the guidance of the great health policy are also discussed Itis proposed to build a full-chain innovation system, strengthenthecollaborationamong industry,academiaandresearch,break throughcore technical problems withthe aim of providing theoretical references forthe high-quality development of the daylily industry.
