Abstract:Inrecentyears,frequentexremeclimateeventshaveldtosignficantfluctuatiosinwatervelsitintheriparianonsof aquaticecosystems.Thevarying waterlevelheights,flodingdurations,andthefrequencyofwet-drycyleshaveasubstantialpacton theemissionofgreehousegasesfrosoils/sedimentsinaquatic-terestrialcotoe.Naturalrganicmater(NOM),sadoxactie substance,iswidelydistributedinthesoils/sedimentsofriparianzonesandcandrivetheoxidationandreductionofelementsto competitively obtain the electron sources required for the generation of greenhouse gases such as CO 2 and CH4, thereby participating in the regulationofgreenousegasmissions.Therefore,thisreviewsummarzes thecuentstateofresearchonthedyamicmicromeanisms ofNOMregulatingelectronflowduringdrywetalterationcylesundervaryingwaterlevels,aswellasthecorespondingchangesin microbialstructurendfunction.Furtherore,isusssthegeohemicalouplingmechanismsbyichrtcalwatervelnges regulatetheessoofgreousegsinipaaonsMeailetisvelsoexplosdifretostmodelsulusd forcarboncyclesiulatioofteestrialaterodiesdprdictionofousegasesiosndfocusoelaboatingtetial advantagesofthredox-basedglobalecosystemmodel.Tosumup,aseriesofinfluencingfactorshaveledtotheuncertaintyncarbon emission accounting in aquatic-terrestrial ecotone.
