Abstract： The inherent nature of the living inheritance of intangible cultural heritage dictates that it is inevitably accompanied by cross-regional flow and localized evolution. Focusing on the cultural adaptation and innovative practices of a single intangible cultural heritage project in different regions， this paper explores the practical significance and institutional predicaments of cross-regional sharing with “sharing and co-protection” at its core. The case studies reveal the contradictions between the current “territorial management”principleand cultural mobility，which are information disparity，management gap，and interest imbalance ，and proposes ways such as revising regulations，establishing coordination platforms，exploring innovative recognition and management models，and setting up cross-regional collaborative governance systems， to provide theoretical references for the transformation of intangible cultural heritage protection from“natural sharing"to“activeco-protection”
