Abstract：Cholera toxin isan AB5-type toxinsecreted byvibrio choleraeand has theability toregulate immunity. Researchhas found thatcholera toxinhas potentialanti-cancer efects.Itnotonly inhibitscellproliferationbysuppressing growth factor signaling or triggering apoptosis，butalsoacts asan immunomodulatorby mediating inflammatoryresponses andregulating the immune system to inhibit tumor occurence anddevelopment.Additionally，cholera toxin canalso indirectlyexertanti-tumoreffects byasisting intargeteddrugdeliveryandservingasanadjuvantinvaccines.Thisarticle reviews the role of cholera toxin in tumors，providing new ideas for cancer prevention and treatment.
