Abstract：Plantar fascitis （PF） isa primarycause heel pain （HP）.Platelet-rich plasma （PRP），asanemerging biologicaltreatmentmethod，posesesuiquebiologicalcharacteristics，showingsignificantdualtherapeuticdvantagesin suppressing inflammationand promoting tisserepair.Thisarticlereviews thepathogenesisPF，the biological characteristicsPRPanditsapplicationinpainmanagementandfunctionalprognosisassessmentPF，particularly focusing on PRP in improving plantar fascia thickness （PFT）.
